From The Campground

The Lower Huron Metropark Walnut Grove Campground offers 27 rustic campsites near the Huron River, allowing visitors to enjoy hiking trails, biking trails, fishing, and the Turtle Cove Family Aquatic Center. Tents, campers, and motor homes are allowed, but water and electricity are not available at the campsites. Modern restrooms are located within the Walnut Grove Campground, and a sanitary dump station is available on-site. Canoe Camp is available for paddlers on the Huron River Water Trail at Walnut Grove Campground. Group camping is also available for organized youth groups. A valid Michigan Fishing License or Sportsperson’s License is required for all anglers age 17 and up.
