This campground is a mix of seasonal and daily campers and offers amenities such as two swimming pools, shuffleboard, a catch-and-release fishing pond, and free WiFi which works consistently. The front section of the campground has many beautiful trees, back-in sites, and a group site. Meanwhile, the rear section has 50-amp pull-thru sites with full hookups and fewer trees. The park is situated close to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, which is around 45 minutes away. There are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby this campground. Overall, the employees are friendly, and the campgrounds are well maintained.

Timberline Campground & RV Park is located on the cusp of Crystal Lake, where the Betsie River flows. It is a go-to base camp for the expert angler and avid boater, famous for trout and salmon fishing. The campground offers RV sites, tent sites, and a rentable cabin. It is a large and spacious campground with ample accommodations and strategic locations of conveniences. The RV sites have water, electric, and sewer with pull-throughs, back-ins, and buddy back-ins with 30/50-amp electric service options. The campground amenities include heated pools, basketball court, hiking trails, storage for boats and RVs, and more. Timberline is the perfect home base for the whole season.
