What others are saying about this campground
This campground is a charming 1970s campground located close to Sleeping Bear Dunes and is accessible to big rigs. It has a small, heated pool that looks inviting and clean. The office staff are friendly and helpful with any questions. The sites are small and have a lot of tree roots, and the power and water connections are all over the sites. Be sure to carry extra hoses and maybe a 30-50 amp extension. The Lake Michigan beach is in Frankfort and Sleeping Bear NP is at least a 30 minute drive away. This campground is ok for a weeks vacation, but may not be suitable for a months stay. The river sites are smaller but can accommodate the larger units. The people at this campground are extremely nice and laid back.
