Walkup Lake Campground is a peaceful and scenic campground located in the Huron-Manistee National Forests. The campground offers 12 single campsites for tent and RV camping, with amenities such as a boat ramp, parking, and vault restrooms. The campground is open from May 1 to October 31, and fees are $10 per night. The campground is located near several recreational areas, including the North Country National Scenic Trail and Nichols Lake North and South Campgrounds. Fishing is a popular activity at Walkup Lake, with warm water temperatures and opportunities for boat, shore, and wade fishing. Boating is also available, with trailer parking and access to fishing boats, bass boats, dinghies, electric boats, flat boats, and jon boats. The campground is operated by the Baldwin White Cloud Ranger District.
