This campground is perfect for anyone looking for a convenient, no-frills stopover while traveling east/west on Michigan 28. It is owned by the township, and the money generated goes toward the roads. The campground has 7 usable sites, each with a nice built-in charcoal grill, and is designed to accommodate two RVs with electric and water hookups. There is a pay station with envelopes and a drop box, and the honor system payment is by cash or check. The campground is within walking distance of a grocery store, 2 or 3 bars/restaurants, and a laundromat, though the laundromat is very dirty with many broken machines. The little town of Bruce Crossing is very friendly and has great 4th of July fireworks. Water is unsafe to drink at present time, but there is nothing about the water on the entrance sign to the park. The campground is $15 per night and the dump station is $5.
