GenieSummary

This campground is a great place to stay for a weekend in Grand Rapids. It is located 25 miles north of Grand Rapids and has paved roads and grass sites with picnic tables and fire rings. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the bathrooms, beach, and playground are always immaculately clean. The campground owners have loaners available at no cost. There is a private lake for swimming and fishing, however, there is a lot of loud traffic on both White Pine Road and the highway. The campground owners have planted a row of pine trees along the property line to buffer out the noise, but it can still be quite loud. The interior roads are gravel, but they have been coated with dust control stuff so they are not too dusty. The only other downside is that the water has a high content of rust.

From The Campground

Cedar Springs RV Resort is a modern campground and RV Park located about 20 miles north of Grand Rapids in Cedar Springs, Michigan. The 25-acre park offers 157 campsites with designated areas for seasonal guests which have full hook-up sites, and for daily or weekend camping with full and partial hook-ups available for you to choose from. The park features a sandy swimming beach, a fishing lake (no license required), kayak and paddle boat rentals, free WiFi, a clubhouse, a recreation hall, an outdoor pavilion, horseshoes, basketball, volleyball, an on-site golf practice area, and a playground. The planned activities offer a summer of fun for the whole family. Cedar Springs and Rockford, 10-miles south, are great areas to go shopping and spend a day out. Access the Fred Meijer White Pine Trail for biking, running, and walking, watch a film or stage show at the Kent Theatre, catch a LIVE performance at The Roundup Tavern, and visit The Cedar Springs Historical Museum. The famous Red Flannel Festival every autumn with parades, arts and craft show, car show, horseshoe throwing contest, lumberjack supper, and more is a must-see. There is shopping, restaurants, golf courses, and churches nearby, and downtown Grand Rapids is only 17 miles away where you will never run out of things to do.
