Waterways Campground is a pet-friendly campground located on the picturesque Cheboygan River in the Upper East portion of Northern Michigan. The campground offers full hookup sites, pull-through and back-in sites, a sanitation station, free wifi, boat launch, docking, picnic tables, firewood, ice for sale, clean restrooms, and tidy showers. Guests can enjoy fishing, kayaking, tubing, and pontooning leisurely along the river. The campground is surrounded by beauty, fishing, water-related activities, and many great attractions. The Cheboygan River can be utilized to travel to Burt Lake, Mullett Lake, and Crooked Lake. The average depth of the river is five feet and its width reaches up to 30 feet. Fishermen find success in catching a variety of fish including salmon, brook trout, rainbow trout, bass, walleye, and sunfish. The campground is open from May 1st to October 15th.
