Bewabic State Park is a rustic and wooded campground located in Iron County, Michigan. The majority of the sites are wooded and pretty tight, with trees and brush separating them for a sense of privacy. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the campground is well kept. There are plenty of shade and beautiful views of the forest, but the road is very narrow and some sites may be difficult to access with larger rigs. The beach area is large and there are plenty of lakes to explore. The campground is close to Iron River and Crystal Falls, making it a great escape from big city life. There are 8 showers in the campground, but the shower floors can be slippery when wet. Mosquitoes can be a problem, but the campground is a great spot for those who dont mind roughing it a little.
