This campground is the perfect place for a family getaway. It offers a peaceful, quiet atmosphere with plenty of trees and shade, as well as a nice pool and fishing pond. The paved roads make it easy to maneuver big rigs, and there are plenty of picnic tables and movable fire rings. The over air TV reception is good, and satellite TV is usually possible with some difficulty. Despite the shade and amount of rain, the mosquito nemesis is not too bad. The pool is nice and clean, but the other facilities like the horseshoe pits, shuffleboard decks, and mini-golf course are in disrepair and unusable. There is also a short hiking trail through the woods, and fishing is possible with no license required. The campground is also a great value with Passport America, and the only issue is that the 30 amp breaker is very old.

Leisure Valley is a 71-acre, 106-site campground facility that offers full hook-up to rustic tent sites. The campground features a modern clubhouse, swimming pool, basketball court, volleyball, boating, fishing, bird watching, nature trails, and relaxation. They offer discounts to Passport America, AAA, and other organizations. Leisure Valley is open from April 15th to October 15th and has seasonal sites available. Nearby attractions include the Grape Festival, Kellogg's Cereal City, Curious Kids Museum, Deer Forest Park, winery tours, shopping centers, Kalamazoo Air Museum, flea markets, golf courses, and more.
