Seven Lakes State Park is a family-friendly campground located near Pictured Rocks National Park. It features over 20 sites, half of which are lake side with little paths leading to the water. There is a boat launch on one end and a large beach with sand and grassy areas on the other. The beach also offers picnic tables and benches. The sites are close together, but the one we stayed in was set in the woods and didnt have a problem with noise from the neighbors. The lake is perfect for swimming and fishing, and the campground is a great spot for kayaking, hiking, biking and swimming. There are no showers or running water, but there are restrooms and picnic tables. The trails are well kept and easily marked. Cell signal is limited, but the internet connection is excellent. The campground needs some maturing, but it is a peaceful and scenic place to camp.
