Frankfort RV Resort is a great place to stay for those looking to explore the Michigan shore area. Located just 3 miles east of Frankfort and 30 miles south of Sleeping Bear Dunes, the resort is a great homebase for day trips to the dunes, Leeanau Peninsula, Traverse City, and Mission Point Peninsula. The sites are large and feature full hookups, concrete pads, paver patios, fire pits, and picnic tables. The resort is still in the development stage, but 50 sites are already operational and the staff is friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi is available, but may not always be reliable. There is a shower building and laundry facility, but no pool or club house yet. The roads are gravel, but the sites are level and the water pressure is good. This is the perfect spot for those looking for a quiet and peaceful stay with easy access to all the attractions Michigan has to offer.
