GenieSummary

Log Cabin Resort and Campground, LLC in Germfask, MI, offers premium sites with level concrete pads and paver patios. Each site is separated and screened by trees and bushes, offering privacy and comfort. Additionally, the sites are spacious enough to accommodate a 34 5th wheel and truck. While the roads between sites may be narrow, they are maneuverable. The site also offers full hook-ups with no issues, and cable is available for guests viewing pleasure. Furthermore, surprisingly the wifi worked well during our stay. The staff members are friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The resort has a small beach on the lake and a playground for families. For outdoor enthusiasts, guests can rent boats. Although some of the water/electric sites may be a little far from the bathhouses, they are still nice. While the park may be older, it is clean and well-maintained. The setting is beautiful, and the location provides a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The roads leading to the park are narrow, but the park is big rig-friendly. However, the sites may be narrow and difficult to get into because of the many trees. On the bright side, each site has a concrete pad, and fires are allowed, with reasonably-priced wood available for purchase.

From The Campground

Log Cabin Resort and Campground is a hidden gem located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the small town of Curtis on Big Manistique Lake. The campground is approximately 25 acres and contains both campsites and cabins to allow everyone to enjoy in whatever fashion they wish. There are 54 campsites available with everything from electric only sites for tenting to pull-thru sites with full hook-ups which are up to 77 feet long. The 14 cabins also have a large selection to choose from -- the oldest log cabin on the waterfront dating back to the early 1900's built by lumberjacks to a modular home which will house up to 13 people.
