Grand Haven State Park is located right on the beach on the shores of Lake Michigan. The location is perfect for watching sunrises and sunsets, enjoying the water, and relaxing on the beach. The developed trail adjacent to the Grand River leads to town, where you can find amenities, including great places to eat. While the campground is relatively small, the paved roads and parking sites are well-maintained. Although some spots are tight, big rigs can fit in with a little patience. The campground offers only electric hookups, and the parking spaces are generally around 20 feet wide. Bathrooms are clean and facilities are large. There is a playground for children. While the campground is not ideal for a quiet camp in the woods, it is a great destination for lake time.
