Apple Creek is a great campground for families and groups looking for a fun and relaxing weekend getaway. It is surrounded by trees, providing a cool and shaded atmosphere. There have been reports of the owners giving dirty looks when people pass by their wood for sale and threatening to throw people out. The area they are placed in borders a swamp and is infested with mosquitoes. When people asked to be moved or cancel, their request was denied and they were asked not to return.

Apple Creek Campground & RV Park offers RV sites, cabins, and tent campsites. The campground features a heated swimming pool, playground, basketball court, mini-golf, volleyball, horseshoes, arcade, and 10 miles of hiking trails. They are open for hunters from October 1st to November 30th and offer hot showers, water and electric, recreation hall, store, and game room. They also offer a special discount of camping two nights (Sunday-Thursday) and receiving the 3rd night free, excluding holidays, cabins, and special events.
