This campground is a little rustic when you enter and the road coming in is bumpy. Not really Big Rig Friendly and there are no pull thrus. The sites are level and the lake is beautiful, but the amenities are sadly lacking. The campground itself is kinda trashed with kids toys everywhere and live music every night during the summer. The other campers are “buddies” of the owner and don’t have any regard over their behavior. The owner is nice, but the atmosphere is not enjoyable. There is a dump station, but it is unavailable. There is water and electric (30 amps) at the sites. The mens bathroom is being remodeled and the womens bathroom is an open room with 4 stalls and 4 showers. There is a lot of iron in the water, so everything is stained. There are vintage seasonal campers in various states of care. Dogs are not allowed on the beach, but this is not enforced. Fishing is apparently good and there are kayaks available for campers use.
