What others are saying about this campground
Hancock City Park is a beautiful woodsy campground with lots of trees, small paths for kids to explore, and a swimming beach right next door. It offers a variety of tent sites with varying levels of amenities, including a few with water hookups. The campground is easily accessible and provides a great base for exploring the area, with plenty of activities and nearby attractions. The roads are easy to navigate and the sites are a mix of dirt and gravel, with some offering a view of the scenic lake. The bathhouse is older but the water is hot and the pressure is good. The park also offers free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a boat launch. Although the campground is close to the beach parking area, it is tucked away in the trees for privacy. The park is also home to a playground, and visitors can spot loons, bald eagles, and other wildlife.
