Lakefront playground, rained really hard and flooded our site, but it’s a nice campground. Wagener Park is a great place for beach access and hiking. It is located 5 miles south of Harbor Beach and on Lake Huron. Most of the sites are electric only, however there is a full-hook-up section located in a different area of the park. The sites are level and grassy and most have a lake view or back up to open space. There is a small park ranger building where you can get quarters and firewood. The showers have high pressure and very warm water. There is no camp store on site, however there is a delicious restaurant in town that is worth the trip in to town (Als) and a homemade ice cream store across the street from Als. The cabin area is very private and wooded. There is a lakefront playground, however it rained really hard and flooded our site. The people enjoying the park for beach access and hiking will find this campground to be a great spot.
