GenieSummary

What others are saying about this campground
Wilson State Park is a great campground for a quick trip. It is located in the village of Harrison, close to grocery stores, restaurants, and the popular Budd Lake. The grounds are clean and the staff are visible throughout the facility. The campsites are relatively large and nicely shaded, with a mix of level and not. There is adequate Verizon and ATT coverage, 20/30 amp electric, water available by entrance, and a dump station with large dumpsters. There are also two handicap accessible showers. The small beach can be crowded toward the afternoon, so its best to stake out a spot early. However, the campground is on a main highway, so there can be noise from people coming in at all hours of the night and partying. There is no park supervision, so it is important to be mindful of the rules. The fairgrounds are across the street, so if there is an event going on, be sure to wear ear plugs.
