Harrisville State Park is a great wooded campground on the shores of Lake Huron. The beach features sand and rocks, and once you go out 2 feet, the water transforms into only sand. The lake-side sites each have their own access to the beach, which is just steps away. The campground features an excellent new bathhouse with spacious showers and plenty of warm water. Additionally, the bathroom facilities are kept very clean. There is no water at the sites, but several spigots are located throughout the park. The park provides 30/20 amp electric service, but no daily entry passes are included in the campground fee. Harrisville State Park is not a huge park, but it includes bike and walk/jog trails. The park is complete with all basic amenities and Harrisville itself is a nearby charming location to check out. Overall, it is a peaceful and quiet location with beautiful scenery and a great beach.
