This family-run campground is a great place to relax and have fun with your family. It is close to home, but feels like you are up north. The staff is friendly and the sites are nice, with both rustic and water and electric sites available. There is a playground for the kids and a dock to rent space and keep your boat in the lake. The fishing is great, and the store at the front of the park is well stocked with good prices. The bathrooms and showers are a bit of a walk, but there are outhouses closer to the sites. There are multiple vault toilets and pit toilets throughout the campground. The beach is salty, so it may not be a great spot for kids. The new owners have turned this campground from a drinkers haven into a family-friendly destination.
