Gateway Campground in Hillsdale, MI is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway. The sites are all paved with plenty of space, grass, and shade. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the office girls are very friendly and helpful. There is plenty for the kids to do, including a pool, air pillow, large playground, half basketball court, sand volleyball net, rec room, crafts on weekends, corn hole boards, horse shoe pits, and more. The store offers ice cream, coffee options, candy, and fire wood. Boat and golf cart rentals are also available. All spots have picnic tables and fire pits by the road. The lake across the road is clean and nicely kept, and a ride up the road offers beautiful views of emus, goats, llamas, and cows. The owners are very helpful and attentive to the campers requests, and the pool area is adequate. Unfortunately, some campers are turned away if their trailer is not a 1999 or newer.

Gateway Park Campground is a family-owned and operated campground located on South Sand Lake in Hillsdale, Michigan. The campground is situated on 130 wooded acres at the Gateway to the Irish Hills. It offers 99 full hook-up RV sites, four cabins, and one rental trailer. The amenities include Wi-Fi, saltwater pool, jumping pillow, gaga ball, volleyball, basketball, playground, corn hole, planned activities, boat rentals, fishing pond, and more. The campground is open from April 15 to October 15 and welcomes families and friends to create lasting memories.
