This campground is an older one with grassy sites, dirt roads, and fairly close sites. The roads are in need of repair and the sites need some mowing and trimming. Mosquitoes can be bad once dusk sets in. The rate reflects Passport America with no power. The site was clean and level, with easy pull-through access and a strong Wi-Fi signal. The entry road had some potholes, but nothing that caused problems for larger vehicles. The owners discourage local Bud-bashers from camping here in order to keep the atmosphere quiet and reasonable. The park is family friendly and offers activities such as trick or treating, Karaoke, hayrides, costume contests, etc. There is a state boat launch within walking distance across the street. The bathrooms and showers are not being kept clean, and the utilities are on the passenger side - doable, but oddly placed. The park is being upgraded with all new water, sewer, and 50 amp electric service.
