Taylors Beach Campground is a great place to spend the summer with family. It features a great beach and swimming area, an awesome splash pad for little kids, and an awesome playground. The bathrooms are nice and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The campground is a bit too crowded and the sites are small, but the quiet time is not enforced. There are a lot of seasonal campers, giving it more of a trailer park feel than a campground feel. The location is at the entrance, busy but quiet compared to the activities that were going on near the lake. The Wi-Fi is a bit hit and miss, but the staff will let you know when you check in. The grounds are grassy and uneven, making it difficult to level. There is a tank emptying service for an additional fee. Dog friendly, Taylors Beach Campground is a great place to relax, have fun, and watch the sun go down on the beach.

It’s a great place for your family and friends to have fun and enjoy time together. Yearly site rental solves storage problems and saves gasoline. It’s like having your own cottage up north, but close to home! We’re a quiet, relaxing getaway in Howell, on Cook Lake, only 60-90 minutes from Metro Detroit. Voted #1 by our campers for best bathrooms and one of Lower Michigan’s most beautiful family campgrounds.
