This campground is an ideal spot for a weekend getaway. It features a large, sunny campsite with electric and water hookups, a clean shower house, and a very nice swimming pool. There are also trails for hiking and biking, and a lake with many spacious spots for swimming and fishing. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they even run a pump wagon every other evening. There is also a small store on site that sells ice, firewood, and slushies. The lake is not large enough for boats with motors, but they do rent paddle boats, canoes, and kayaks. There is a lighted fountain in the middle of the lake for night time enjoyment. The interior roads are rough and there is no shade in the area, but the campground is quiet at night and the people are friendly.
