Paint River Forks Campground is a small rural campground located at the fork of the South and North Branch of the Paint River. It offers river bank camping, canoeing, and fishing opportunities. The campground has 4 sites with no reservations and no fee. Please be aware that there are no services provided at this location. Please pack in pack out supplies and garbage. The campground is open from May 18 to December 31 with light usage. The best season to visit is from June to August, and the busiest season is in July. The closest town is Iron River, Michigan, which is approximately 10 miles to the southeast.
