Little Girls Point County Park is a beautiful destination located in Ironwood, MI, right off the Lake Superior shoreline. The wooded sites are well-separated, providing some privacy while still being close to other campers. The lake has a lovely beachwalk for about a mile and is a great spot to spend your days. Unfortunately, the cell service is not available for T-Mobile. However, you wont miss urban noise; however, you may sometimes hear stray dogs or an occasional car passing by. All sites have at least some shade, some with well-covered areas. The beautiful beach is perfect for collecting colorful rocks and sunbathing. No WIFI is available, but some phone and text service are accessible. This campground is a great option if you want to get away from the city and its noise.

Little Girl’s Point County Park is a rustic recreational facility established by Gogebic County in 1920, located along the beautiful shores of Lake Superior. The park features 29 electric and 2 non-electric campsites, two pavilions with grills and picnic tables, walking trails, and playground equipment. Within the park boundaries, the mouth of Oman’s Creek offers boating access. Camping, swimming, fishing, rock hounding, boating, and sightseeing are all ways to enjoy the beauty and grandeur of Lake Superior and Little Girl’s Point County Park. Amenities available for day use include walking paths, access to the Lake Superior beach, playground equipment, picnic areas, and restroom facilities.
