What others are saying about this campground
Markin Glen County Park in Kalamazoo, MI is a lovely campground located in a beautiful county park right by a small lake. The park is well-maintained and clean, with lovely trees and grass, and a paved trail around the pond for walking or biking. Additionally, there is a playground and several areas, including a dock and bridge, for fishing, and a nice beach to enjoy as well. The spaces are not very private, but they are staggered, so you dont have an RV parked right up against yours. Each site has a fire ring and a bench, and the pads are made of concrete. All sites have full hookups. The downside to this park is that it is close to a train track, and there is a train that passes pretty close to the park twice a day, which can be quite loud and may disturb light sleepers. Additionally, the spaces themselves are quite close together, so you may be able to hear your neighbors inside your RV. All in all, if you enjoy the outdoors and dont mind a bit of noise, Markin Glen County Park is a nice place to spend a few days. Its perfect for families with kids, or anyone who enjoys nature and wants to spend some time relaxing.
