From The Campground

L’Anse Township Park and Campground is a family-friendly camping and recreation spot located on a sloping hillside that offers a beautiful view of Lake Superior and Keweenaw Bay. The park has 30 sites for tents and RVs, some with views of Lake Superior. It is situated on the site of the first trading post and the original townsite of L’Anse. The park offers nature trails for hiking, biking, and snowshoeing, a pavilion/picnic area with electricity, picnic tables, wifi, a charcoal grill, bathrooms, playground equipment, and drinking water. The park also has access to Lake Superior beach and shoreline.
