This campground is located in a convenient spot between Ludington and Big Sable Point Lighthouse, and is a short drive away from the beach and downtown Ludington. It offers kayak and canoe rentals, a boat dock, and a pool. Firewood and general supplies are sold directly at the campground store. The campsites are small and not level, and you cant pick your own site. There are play areas for kids and stairs leading down to the upper portion of Hamlin Lake. However, owners operate heavy equipment at 7am, dogs bark at all hours of the night, the showers are not updated, and the lighting for the area near the bathrooms is nonworking. The only good thing about this campground is its proximity to Ludington and Lake Michigan.
