What others are saying about this campground
The Mackinaw City / Mackinac Island KOA Journey in Mackinaw City, MI is a fantastic park located close to the city. The standard KOA Kabin with no water is a great option with a space heater that works well. The bathrooms and showers are available and well-maintained. The campground is clean and RV slots are nicely spaced. The laundry facilities are clean and convenient. The park is easy to access from I-75, but road noise is not a problem. There is a trail behind the CG that leads to an asphalt bike path to the town. The hosts are very friendly and the evening text reminders are a nice touch. The dog run is a good size. The campground is beautifully located among trees and the fall foliage is spectacular. Overall, it is a wonderful and clean place with awesome hosts. People highly recommend it and are planning their return trips.
