Mill Creek Discovery Park is a campground located on the shore of Lake Huron, with spectacular views of Mackinaw Island, the Mackinaw Bridge, and passing freighters. The campground is large, but easy to navigate with a map, and offers a variety of sites for RVs and tents, including full hook-ups, electric, and water and sewer. The sites are close together, but are at least moderately privatized by a row of trees between each. There are plenty of amenities, including a pool, store, dog exercise area, playgrounds, and bike paths. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the campground is well-maintained. There are also fire pits along the beach, perfect for watching the sun go down and the lights of the bridge come on. Quiet hours are strictly enforced, and there are fireworks on Tuesday and Friday nights. The bathrooms and showers are old and outdated, but are cleaned twice daily. The campground is conveniently located just a few miles from Mackinaw City, where visitors can take a ferry to the island or grab food and shop.

Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping is an award-winning campground located on a mile of lakefront in Mackinaw City, MI. The campground offers a variety of sites, including cabin rentals, lakefront RV sites with full hookups, and tent sites. The natural setting and beautiful views provide a spectacular backdrop for camping. The campground is conveniently located just 5 minutes from the Mackinac Island Ferry Docks and downtown Mackinaw City. Amenities include a heated pool, camp store, sanitation station, free mini-golf, and nightly antique fire truck and hay rides. The campground also features three playgrounds, two basketball courts, and LP gas refilling.
