Starlight Campground and RV Park in Mancelona, MI is a fantastic place to relax and unwind. The park boasts a clean and quiet atmosphere, with grassy sites that are separated by mature pines for privacy. All sites offer electric, water, and sewer hookups, and were able to connect with satellite TV without any difficulties. The campground offers excellent amenities including hiking trails and a swimming pool, and the grounds are beautifully maintained with rolling hills, manicured lawns, and a variety of trees throughout. The bathrooms with individual stalls were clean with tiled walls top to bottom. Garbage pickup is twice a day, which is a plus. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making our stay a pleasant experience. The location is also ideal, with a lot of attractions nearby like golf courses, lakes, Traverse City, Sleeping Bear, Kalkaska, and Petoskey. Though the laundry room consisted of only one stacked washer and dryer during our stay, they are currently building a lot of new sites so maybe theyll add a real laundry facility as well. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

From The Campground

Starlight Campground is a family friendly campground nestled amidst mature pine trees, with cozy campsites, full facilities, a beautiful hiking trail, both vintage and contemporary trailer rentals, impeccably clean facilities, incredible sunsets, and star-filled night skies. It is those dark skies that have inspired our name, carried over into our Starry Nights Weekend during the annual Perseids meteor shower in August, just one of a season full of themed weekends filled with carefully planned activities. We also strive to provide our guests with a level of hospitality and service that will exceed their expectations. We are home of the “Welcome Wood”, where you will find three pieces of firewood already in your campfire ring as our way of saying “Thank you” for being our guest. We will even deliver wood, ice, and store items directly to your site. Think of it as room service in the great outdoors!
