This campground is the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of nature. Located an hour away from the Pictured Rocks National Park, this campground offers over 20 sites, half of which are located lake side with paths leading to the water. The beach is large, with both sand and grassy areas, picnic tables and benches. There are no showers or running water, but there is a boat launch, electric sites, firewood and ice for sale, and a camp host who is very helpful and welcoming. The sites are big and shaded, with fire pits and hammock trees. The lake is perfect for swimming and fishing, and the area is great for exploring waterfalls.
