Indian Lake (South Shore) State Park in Manistique, MI is a great camping experience. You can book a site, even on short notice, with plenty of lakefront spots. While some sites may be crowded and lack privacy, there are a variety of lakeside sites that offer amazing views and a nice breeze off the lake. The restrooms may be a bit dated, but they are consistently clean. The staff is ultra-friendly and helpful. Located just a few miles from both Manistique and the Big Spring, there are plenty of opportunities for shopping and sightseeing. It is mostly an RV campsite, but you can also find a few tent spots. While there is little to no Verizon cell service, there are a variety of amenities available such as a pool, boat launch, and dock for public use.
