The owners are friendly and very helpful. This campground is a great spot for families and campers looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway. It has 30 sites, all of which are grass back-ins with 30 amp electric only, and some with water and electric hookups. Rates are $24 for water and electric, $26 with sewer. The campground is part of a recreation complex, close enough to walk to town, and includes a beach, playground, pavilion, tennis courts, and more. There is a small pond, playground equipment for children, and a covered meeting area. The lots are decent sized, and the lake has decent fishing and is good for swimming. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the restrooms and showers are one of the cleanest weve seen this year. Verizon cell and broadband are both very good, and Wi-Fi is mostly good, though it did drop out for one of our two days here. TV via batwing was also pretty good. Unfortunately, there is no Wi-Fi or cable, and tall trees to the south block all satellite reception. Would be very helpful if a site map could be added before calling and booking a stay.
