From The Campground
Courtney Lake Campground is a 33-acre lake located in Ontonagon County, Michigan. It is a popular summer destination for campers, fishermen, and outdoor enthusiasts. The lake provides great trout fishing and has a sandy beach area for swimming. The campground has 19 sites for camping, with accessible picnic tables and vault toilets. The Circle of Life Trail is a 2.2-mile trail that takes about an hour to walk and is accessible for motorized wheelchairs. The trail is located across from the day use parking area in the campground. The Old Grade Ski Trail is a 4.2-mile trail that is groomed and tracked weekly for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. It has gentle slopes and meanders through hardwoods and pine plantations.
