What others are saying about this campground
This campground is a gem of a find located in the Upper Peninsula. It offers electric and water sites with a nearby dump station. The cost is only $17 per night for power and water. The bathrooms and showers are clean but not heated. There is a playground, basketball court, volleyball court, and a dog area for recreation. The lake is beautiful and shallow for 400ft, perfect for kids. Fishing is not recommended as the water is shallow and sandy. Cell service is strong at times and shaky at times. There are no grocery stores or gas stations nearby, so make sure you plan accordingly. The campground is very quiet and peaceful and is first-come-first-serve, so there is no assurance they will have a site available. The caretakers are friendly and the sunsets over the lake are beautiful.
