Silver Lake Campground is a large, kid friendly park with over 200 sites and lots of mature shade trees. It is located in the heart of Silver Lake, within walking distance of the beach, dunes, go-kart track, arcade, bakery, and other shops. The campground is ORV friendly and has lots of activities for kids, including a heated pool, game rooms, crafts, hay rides, outdoor movies, and character meet and greets. The sites are large and shaded, with lots of trees and easy access to the hydro/water, although there is not much grass and a lot of sand. The park is very busy, with lots of sand vehicles (rev engines) and beer drinkers, but quiet hours are strictly enforced. There is no premium wifi available, but the park is close to many attractions and activities.
