Pulled in and found a great spot right on the beach. Park is well kept, with a playground and picnic area. Sites are all back-in, and fairly close together, but the view of the lake makes it worth it. There is a small fee for showers, but the bathrooms are clean. The trees by the beach are great for a hammock, and the sunrises over the lake are breathtaking. Highly recommend for a day or two stay! Kleinke County Park is a great campground located 15 miles north of Menominee, Michigan. It offers stunning views of Lake Michigan and a beachfront location. The sites are all back-in and close together, but the view of the lake makes it worth it. There is a playground and picnic area, and the trees by the beach are great for a hammock. The park also offers a fill station, two pit toilets, and a bath house with flush toilets and coin showers. There is a small fee for showers, but the bathrooms are clean. The park is also dog friendly and the staff is friendly and helpful. The sunrises over the lake are breathtaking and its hard to beat waking up next to the serene Lake Michigan waves. The park is right up against a major road, so there is a lot of freight traffic and on-road rumble strips you can hear with every passing truck. The price is $20/night, but if you stay 6 nights, you get one free. There is also 2 bars LTE Verizon. Overall, its a great place to stay for a day or two and experience the beauty of Lake Michigan.
