Michigamme Shores Campground is a quiet and nicely maintained campground in Michigamme, MI. The park is surrounded by a big forest and is situated next to Lake Michigamme, which is perfect for family fun. The beach and water toys provide endless hours of enjoyment for campers of all ages. The RV park is easily accessible from the highway, and the entryway is well-marked. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and the rest of the campers are respectful and enjoyable to be around. The RV sites are spacious and surrounded by trees providing ample shade. There are no dog amenities, but there are plenty of places to walk them. The park is very clean and tidy and has a picnic area and fire pits for campfires. There is occasional train noise, as a train passes through the park slowly but loudly at around 8:00 am and 6:00 pm during the week. However, many children seem to enjoy it. The wifi in the park was weak, with only one bar, but cell phone coverage via Verizon is strong. If youre looking for a peaceful and serene camping experience with lots of water activities, then Michigamme Shores Campground is the perfect spot for a getaway.
