McKinley Horse Trail Campground is located in the Huron-Manistee National Forests in Michigan. The campground is situated in a red pine plantation and offers easy access to the Shore-to-Shore Horse Trail. There are no designated sites, but fire rings are available. The campground is open year-round for hunting, backpacking, biking, and general camping. The vault restroom is available, but water is not for drinking. The parking lot is designed for trucks with horse trailers. The campground is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week unless otherwise posted. Forest quiet hours apply.
