GenieSummary

This campground is located in the heart of Mio, Michigan and offers stunning views of the Au Sable River. It features large, grassy sites with some trees, and stairs down to the river. The sites are equipped with 50 or 20 amp power, and you will need a 15 or 50 adapter to use 30 amp service. There is also a small playground for the kids, and free wifi with limited coverage. The campground is under new management and the guy that runs the place is working hard to update and upgrade it. There are trails to hike in the rustic area, and canoeing, kayaking or tubing on the Ausabo river is just a stones throw away. Unfortunately, the bathrooms were not clean during our stay and there was a bad experience with animal control. Despite this, the campground is still a great place to bring the family for a relaxing and peaceful stay.
