From The Campground
Deerfield Nature Park is a 591-acre park located along the banks of the Chippewa River in Isabella County, Michigan. The park offers 8 miles of hiking/bicycling trails, cross-country skiing, a sledding hill, a sandy swimming beach, fishing along the Chippewa River, a kayak/canoe launch, volleyball and horseshoes, and two 18-hole disc golf courses. The park also has 10 remote campsites accessible by hiking or canoeing, and a hand water pump. Picnic areas, four covered pavilions, a covered bridge, two swing bridges, and an artesian well are also available for visitors to enjoy.
