The campground is conveniently located across from the Kewadin Casino and offers easy access to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Alger Underwater Preserve, boat cruises, Miner's Castle, and many delightful waterfalls. The Bay Furnace Day Use Site offers spectacular views of Grand Island National Recreation Area and includes several picnic sites and access to a rocky beach along the lake. The campground is open from May 15 to October 7 and offers reservable sites, drinking water, vault toilets, and a dump station for self-contained vehicles.
