Happy Campers is a rustic campground located in Newaygo, MI. The campground is beautifully located, with endless activities to keep everyone content! Within 3/4 of a mile, there is Muskegon river public access just below the Croton dam, and above it, you have the Croton pond public access. On both the lake and river, you can enjoy fishing, swimming, tubing, boating, and much more. There is also a canoe, kayak, and tube rental just across the street. The campground is surrounded by 350 acres of state land that includes hiking and biking trails for the adventurous ones in the family! There are many local conveniences such as bait shops, ice cream shops, and local grocery stores. Happy Campers is a rustic campground that has running water and outdoor bathrooms. The campsites are secluded with plenty of trees and foliage to make you feel like you are deep in the woods. Happy Campers is also a much more relaxed environment, and they don't follow strict 'quiet hours' as many of the surrounding campgrounds do.
