The campsites are equipped with fire rings and tables, and the grounds are shaded with large trees throughout. Some of the buddy sites face back-to-back, providing privacy between campsites. The campground features trails, playgrounds, and clean bathrooms. While there is no Wi-Fi, you can disconnect and enjoy the rustic nature. The campground is in a great location to visit several tourist sites nearby. Staff is attentive and works hard to keep the grounds and facilities clean. The park sells excellent firewood and assists with mail/package delivery. All roads and sites are gravel and easy to navigate.

From The Campground

Located in the center of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Kritters Campground is your home base for all the attractions the UP has to offer. Our campground is just down the street from Tahquamenon Falls, Oswald’s Bear Ranch, and the Tahquamenon Logging Museum, and within an hour or so from Mackinac Island, Soo Locks, Pictured Rocks, and Kitch-iti-kipi. Kritters Campground is your somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Enjoy thousands of miles of trails for hiking, biking, snowmobiling, and ORVs, with access to snowmobile and ORV trails near the campground. We are open for lodging year-round, so no matter the season, Kritters can meet your outdoor adventure needs.
