What others are saying about this campground
This campground is located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and is a great spot for exploring the area. The sites are large, level, and grassy, and are arranged in two concentric circles with a bathhouse, volleyball court, and trash in the center. The campground has full hookups with cable TV, and WIFI is available for an extra fee. Cell service is spotty, but Verizon signal is minimal. There is a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and disc golf. The campground is centrally located to Painted Rocks National Seashore, Tahquamenon Falls State Park, Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, and Sault Ste. Marie. The grounds are groomed and have lots of mature trees for shade. WIFI is weak and cable TV has static on some channels, but satellite users can receive signals. The campground is peaceful and quiet with a dark sky for star gazing, and is a great spot for bird viewing and nature walks. There are a lot of rules and regulations, and the owner is strict about enforcing them.
