The sites are really nice, they are large and level. The lake is beautiful and the beach is great. The camp store is well stocked and has a wide selection of items. The staff is friendly and helpful. Old Orchard Campground is a great spot for families and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Located on property owned by Consumers Powers Energy, this campground offers large sites with full hookups, a small beach, a camp store, and a variety of activities. Kayaking, boating, pontooning, fishing, and wagon rides are all available on the lake, while nearby attractions include Lumbermans Monument, Iargo Springs, and downtown Oscoda on Lake Huron. The campground is crowded in summer months and tokens are required for showers, but the views of the lake and access to the river are spectacular. There is also an offshoot road to Champagne Hill where people can slide down the sand dunes into the water. The atmosphere can be a bit unfriendly and territorial, with some adult activities taking place after dark, but the staff are friendly and the lake is beautiful. There is an extra charge for showers and the water is turned off in the winter, but overall Old Orchard is a great spot for a peaceful and rejuvenating camping experience.

Old Orchard Campground offers a variety of camping options including rustic waterfront and backlot sites, electric/water seasonal sites, and group camping areas. The campground features a sandy beach, recreational activities for the entire family, and WIFI service for an additional cost. Pets are allowed in the campground, but not inside the cabins or yurts. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 p.m.
