The Oscoda / Tawas KOA campground lies near the sunrise coast of northeast Michigan in an outdoor enthusiast's wonderland. Amid the trees you can enjoy our heated pool, playground, Jumping Pillow, jump shot, gem mining, fun-bike rentals, rec center (arcade), summer train rides, camp store and laundry facility. Minutes away, you'll find Au Sable River canoeing, kayaking and tubing, Oscoda Beach Park and several other beautiful Lake Huron beaches, Huron National Forest, Huron ORV Trail, Wurtsmith Air Museum, River Road National Scenic Byway (Lumberman's Monument and Iargo Springs), Tawas Point and Sturgeon Point lighthouses. Also, don't miss Newman Street shopping in Downtown East Tawas. If it's a day trip you're looking for, we are 1 hour from Alpena and West Branch and about 2.5 hours from beautiful Mackinaw City.
