There are doggie waste bag dispensers scattered throughout the park. You must register and pay at the police department, which is less than a mile from the park. You may camp here for only three days in a row, and may do this only two times per calendar year. There are a few train tracks and industrial businesses which provide a bit of noise along with traffic, but the lovely old trees provide plenty of shade and dampen the noise. The downtown area is a short walk and has some great dining options. There is no dump station in the area, but the cost of $10 per night makes up for it. The Gilmore Car Museum is a great attraction to visit while you are here.
